Who we are

Crux Development is a web development studio based in Warsaw, Poland, and the controller of the personal data described here. For anything related to your data, email contact@cruxdevelopment.pl.

What we collect

• Contact form submissions: your name, email address, optional company name, project type and the message you write. These are delivered to us through Formspree.
• Preference cookies: your chosen language and your cookie-consent choice, stored in your browser.
• Technical logs: our host, Vercel, records standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability.
• Reviews widget: the Trustpilot widget in our Reviews section is loaded from Trustpilot and may set its own cookies and collect usage data under Trustpilot's own privacy policy.
• We do not run advertising trackers or profiling analytics.

Why we process it, and the legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and take steps toward a possible contract - Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries).
• To remember your language and consent choices - Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), and 6(1)(f) for strictly necessary storage.
• To keep the site secure and operational - Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cookies

We use two first-party cookies, neither of which contains a tracking identifier:

• crux_lang - remembers your language choice. Expires after about a year.
• crux_cookie_consent - remembers your cookie choice. Expires after about six months.
• The Trustpilot widget may set additional cookies when the Reviews section loads.

Who else processes your data

• Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA) - delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox.
• Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA) - hosts and serves the website.
• Trustpilot (Trustpilot A/S, Denmark) - provides the reviews widget.
• Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA) - serves the site's web font; your IP address is visible to Google when the font loads.
• We never sell your data.

International transfers

Some of the services above are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the USA. Where that is the case, transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Contact-form correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting project, and afterwards only as required by tax and accounting law. Preference cookies expire on the schedule above. Server logs are retained by our host for a short period.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, or provide it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email contact@cruxdevelopment.pl.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority: President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our tools or legal obligations change. The date above shows the latest revision.
